stim,Stim: An Autism Anthology | Lizzie Huxley-Jones | undefined

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. It is the 1st of October, which means I'm fully ensconsed in plaid and kicking about crispy fallen leaves -- truly Autumn is my season.

The last month has been a bit quiet on my end because I've been moving house (which is also why we had a temporary Stim Saturday hiatus), but we amazingly flew up by 7%?! This doesn't sound like a lot, I know. 7 isn't a particularly huge number in the grand scheme of things, but it represents a huge number of preorders and a lot of progress for our anthology.

We now stand on the other side of 50%, which is a big deal. Humans like to fund things that are definitely going to happen, which in crowdfunding terms usually means "over 50%", so I'm hoping we keep barrelling along.

Stim Saturdays is going to start back up very shortly, so you can get to know some more of our contributors (hurrah!) and get excited for all the brilliant things you are going to be able to read once you get a copy of our book in your hands.

Until then, please keep talking about our project on social media, at work, to your pals. It's only with your support that Stim will happen (and it WILL happen).

In the meantime, if you're looking for something else to back, may I recommend Philip Womack's The Arrow of Apollo? An epic adventure into the past to find the mythical arrow of Apollo and prevent the world ending. Marvellous stuff, and would make an excellent treat for yourself or a gift for any fan of children's literature. He's at 80% and just needs a few more pledges to push him over to funded. Go on.

Back to you soon with more Stim updates!

All the best,

Lizzie
