I hope you enjoyed reading Kris’s wise words in her book and that you continue to feel empowered and enlightened by her.

I wanted to let you know that there’s a documentary being aired tomorrow about Kris. Living Every Second: The Kris Hallenga Story will be shown on BBC Two at 9 p.m. on 1 October 2024 and will also be available on iPlayer soon after.

Kris found out before she died that this film had been commissioned – something she had wanted since Dying to Live aired in 2014 (her BBC Three documentary). This film has the same team working on it as her previous one, including camera and direction by Neil Bonner. Neil’s love for Kris and passion for film-making has resulted in a documentary which shows Kris in all her wonderful colours. It’s a story of diagnosis to death and all the incredible, heart-breaking, mind-blowing and mundane bits in between. Having read her book, I know you will enjoy seeing some of her story brought to life.
