Dear Storytelling Friends,
The book is slowly incarnating. It now has a title: UNRIDDLING THE WORLD: Fifty Wonder Tales
Many of you will recognise this as a quote from Alan Garner who has written ‘We have to tell stories to unriddle the world’. I’ve used the phrase with his kind permission. My friend Nanette Hoogslag is working on the illustrations.
I’m excited to see it all coming to fruition, it will be dropping onto doormats in Spring 2025.
I’ll be telling ‘The Three Snake Leaves’ (with Ben Haggarty, Sally Pomme Clayton & Sheema Mukherjee) at The Ancient Technology Centre, Cranborne; The Story Museum, Oxford; The Cube Theatre, Bristol; Barnfield Theatre, Exeter; The Junction, Cambridge and The King’s Place, London (and other venues) over the next few months… come if you can.
