Hi lovely Grand Dishes supporters - sorry we've been quiet a while!

Lots of exciting developments have been happening our end. This summer we visited grandmothers in Cuba - women who lived through Che and Fidel's REVOLUCION. Juana Maria's interview and recipe is actually live on the website now, should you want to read about what it's like to live on rations and cook for a family in modern Cuba. We also wrote about our experience for The Economist. 

Which brings us on to something we're very excited about...we've been shortlisted for a Travel Media Award, in the category of Best Travel Blog. The awards will be announced at the end of October - fingers crossed for us!

Finally, we are at 94% on our crowdfund. We are GETTING THERE. We really hope that on this last hurdle, you might share a link to what we are doing with your friends and family and encourage them to get themselves a copy of Grand Dishes.
