Hello Grand Dishes supporters! 

We're thrilled to announce that tomorrow is the launch date of the Grand Dishes exhibition as part of Leeds Indie Food Festival. If you're in and around Yorkshire in the next month, we hope you can come along and see our handy work.

The Gallery at Munro House

Grand Dishes has this month teamed up with Leeds Indie Food, The Gallery and Café 164 to show a carefully curated selection of images that capture the spirit of the book in an exhibition setting.

Shot on film with a 1960s Mamiya camera, the photographs featured in the exhibition preserve and protect the memory of these grandmothers at their most relaxed – in their homes, cooking a dish that says something about the life they have lived. With each photograph comes an accompanying recipe and an anecdote in the grandmothers’ own words - to be published in the Grand Dishes book you're supporting.
