Hello dears,

Just wanted to check in as it's been a week since the crowdfunder relaunch, and what a week! We've jumped up from 82% to 87% (two hardbacks off 88%... not that I'm obsessively refreshing the website or anything...). That's more momentous than it sounds as each % is quite chunky, since there are a lot of costs attached to printing and marketing a book, and it's more than I'd ever dared to hope for in a week. Loads of you have been sharing the link all over the internet, telling your friends, some people upping their pledges as well... I've tried to thank everyone individually but I'm certain I will have missed some, so please accept this note in lieu of a personal thank you. It really means the world.

Also, welcome to all the new supporters who've joined us over the past week. It's fantastic to have you on board. If you're wondering who the hell I am, me too, but also you can take a look at my linktree for some of my other writing and projects, or follow me on Twitter for as long as it exists. Do give me a wave via your preferred method of electronic communication. I don't bite (at least not without enthusiastic consent) and am generally pretty friendly.

Everyone seems to be ill at the moment. I guess it's just the time of year... I've had my son off school all week and have finally succumbed myself. So I'm going to say one more thank you and leave it there!
