One of the really exciting things about researching and developing Lost & Found has been the collaborative conversations that have arisen as a result.  No more so than at The Blackden Trust! The head of research and archaeology Dr. Tim Campbell-Green and I have whiled away many hours and many cups of tea enthusing about the crossover between Folk Tales motifs and 'found' ritual objects. Shoes, coins, pins... they all have their part to play and their stories to tell.

We've decided that these conversations, like any good stories, deserve to be shared!  So do come and join us for an evening of demonstration and discussion at Macclesfield Museum on 9th April.  It's a joint fundraiser for the book and also for The Blackden Trust.  Here's a sneak preview to whet your appetites: https://vimeo.com/390294560

I will be reading from Lost & Found, so it's a chance for you to have a taster of the tales that you are so generously supporting.  Tim will also be bringing along his own personal collection of found objects, which are quite literally a wonder to behold.  Hope to see you there!
