So, time for some updates on Gender Euphoria. Things are progressing really well.

So, Gender Euphoria has an official release date currently pencilled in for June 10th 2021. Those of you who have supported the book on Unbound will recieve your copies a little before that official release, can't say exactly when yet, but for an example backers of my other Unbound book "Things I Learned From Mario's Butt" are looking likely to recieve their copies 4-6 weeks before that books official release.

The finished manuscript has been with Unbound for a little over a month, and is in the process of having edits done to it. I'll likely be going through my own revisions by the end of this month so we can get text finalised.

Right, let's talk about the cover design. Here's the design we used when promoting the project on Unbound originally.

The idea behind the design was to use the trans flag on the cover, as it's an umbrella identity that's quickly recognisable and very central to the book, with some of the more specific gender identity related flags along the spine where they are going to be most visible when the book is on a bookshelf.

Over the past few weeks, Unbound has suggested several new design ideas, which we worked through. Ultimately, this original direction was my favourite option presented, so we focused on refining this rather than reinventing an already liked design.

Below is our finalised cover design, which will soon start showing up on Amazon, Waterstones, and other online book retailers. There's a few tweaks, but it's the same basic concept.

The main changes as you can see are a slightly different brush style, moving from watercolour to more defined strokes, the blue now reaches the edges of the cover, and we have amended my credit on the cover to specify i edited the anthology, it is not a book solely written by myself.

it's a small change, but we now have a version of the cover myself and Unbound are happy to get behind.

I can't wait to share this book with you next summer., I keep thinking about some of the stories we have included, and they make me smile to remember.
