Hello my Lovelies

Well, it’s been one heck of a ride and it’s hard to believe but Bone Lines is nearly 1 year old, having come to life on September 19th last year (ahem, also my birthday, not hinting, no, not hinting at all) thanks to your amazing support. So, what about that elusive book number two? Well, I must confess, the whole process of bringing out Bone Lines while also still working full time (and all the other ‘life’ stuff) led to a touch of burnout, so while I’m about half way through the draft and still having plenty of ideas, I decided to take the summer off from any pressure to complete it... or, indeed, to make a decision about if, when or how to crowdfund again. However, I do plan to get back to work soon and will let you know of any significant progress or decisions.

In the meantime, thank you so much once more for taking that precious punt on me. Bone Lines now has 32 fantastic reviews on Amazon, with an average of 4.7 stars - and every single review, wherever posted, contributes to its journey.

Bone Lines has been proudly on display on a table at Foyles on Charing Cross Road and it’s in the London Review Bookshop amongst other amazing indies around the country. So there's one or two more life-long ambitions achieved. I’ve also been privileged to take part in several inspiring events at bookshops and festivals alongside other incredible authors, from prize-nominated Unbounders such as Alice Jolly to literary heroes such as Lindsay Clarke.

And I couldn’t have done any of it without you. My heart is full of love and thanks. xxx
