News, everyone! And not the fake kind.
We are now officially a third (A THIRD!) of the way towards making "Philosophers’ Dogs" a reality and that means you (our wonderful, brilliant supporters) are all a third of the way closer to getting all of your philosophical canine merch & experiences. Happy days!
News; news; and discount codes
Of course, there’s still two more thirds to go, but we’ve been hard at work trying to spread the word far and wide about the book, as well as the beautiful art prints and original portraits (paw-traits?!) that people can pledge to buy through the campaign.
Sam has been featured in the ‘Brave Bites’ newsletter – which is run by ‘Brave your Day’, and features, in their own words “people who ooze creativity, passion and kindness.”
We’ve had two articles featured by the lovely folk who run ‘The Writers Group’ – A UK-based writing e-zine. These include a guide and introduction to crowdfunding (with some tips for people thinking of going down this route for their own work), as well as a personal essay from Sam about his crowdfunding experiences so far, and his deepest darkest secrets.
And we’ve been featured in Nothing in the Rulebook in a fun article packed-full of Rosie’s beautiful illustrations. Perhaps most importantly, readers of NITRB can get a nifty 25% DISCOUNT by using the discount code in the article. So, check it out, perhaps upgrade your pledge, or pass the code on to anybody and everybody you know.
There are a few more features in the pipeline – including magazine interviews and articles – so we’ll keep you all posted with them as and when they come out.
It’s been an incredible journey so far and we’re so happy to have you all with us on the road ahead. Please do keep telling folk about the book and rewards on offer – it makes such a difference. As great mathematical genius Alan Turing’s dog, Alan Chewring, once said, “We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.”
In honour of Alan – please accept this video of a dog determined to play fetch with Turing’s statue embedded at the top of this article.
