Hello, subscribers!
By now, most of you will have received your copy of This Party's Dead. I really hope you enjoy/ are enjoying/ enjoyed it! If you have a moment, do please leave a review on Amazon, Goodreads or even Waterstones – it's incredibly helpful if you do, though I'll be doing my best to not look at them unless someone who likes me sends one to me (it's way too late to change anything so it's really, in a way, none of my business).
I will say that reviews so far have been overwhelmingly positive and kind, and this one below compared me to Jon Ronson so if anyone needs me, I'll be over here Riverdancing* with joy.
*just sort of skipping around
Some cool stuff:
- On March 10, I'm being interviewed by the brilliant and hilarious Guardian columnist Stuart Heritage at a Zoom event by beautiful independent bookshop Ink84. The event costs £3 if you'd like to join, or is free with the purchase of the book.
- On March 16, I'll be a guest on the brilliant political podcast The Bunker.
- In the next few weeks, Sky News will release a short film about grief in which they interview me about This Party's Dead. It'll go out on TV a couple of times and will be all over their digital channels, so watch out for that.
- Don't forget that pictures and videos accompanying the book are on the TPD Instagram, with page references!
That's all for now. I hope you're all having a pleasant time as we claw our way out of lockdown, and I hope This Party's Dead helped even a tiny little bit.
