Virtual Cities, being an atlas that intends to cover all aspects of videogame urbanism, is, appropriately, also aiming to encompass the entire range of gaming's cities. So, following last week's announcement regarding the inclusion of 0°N 0°W's surreal urban entities, here's a short update to let you know that the contemporary, realistic, and yet imaginary (to the point of utopianism some would argue) virtual urbanism of Bus Simulator 18 by stillalive studios will also be a part of the book.
Working on the map of Seaside Valley has proven incredibly satisfying so far, Maria Kallikaki is eager to approach more contemporary city images, and I am thinking this town might be the one to allow for a brief discussion of modern transportation systems. Happily, and as stillalive studios have been very open with their creative process, and very generous with information, I am certain this particular entry will be one of great interest to the more design-minded of our readers.
