Thank you & free online launch event 9 May

Dear readers,

We did it! I hope by now all of you will have your own copy of Into the Mouth of the Lion as a paperback or e-book. Many of you have shared photos with me from around the world on social media (I’m @abkwriting on twitter, @abk_writing on Instagram). It’s really fun to see Into the Mouth of the Lion in different landscapes and places.

I can’t thank you enough. It is an amazing feeling to hold your own debut novel in your hands, and to know that hundreds of people came together to help bring it to print.

As you read it, I hope you enjoy it. If you could consider leaving a review on Amazon, Goodreads, or any bookstore or reading site, that would be so helpful. Apparently the more reviews you have, it helps other readers discover the book more easily.

As a small thank you, I would like to offer signed bookplates that can be pressed into the book. In these covid-times, it hasn’t been possible to have in-person book signings, but a photography-themed bookplate is the next best thing. If you’d like a signed bookplate, please go to www.abkyazze.co.uk and send me a message with your postal address. While you’re at it, you can sign up for my author’s newsletter to ensure that we stay in touch for future publications and events.

Lastly, there is a free planned launch event for Into the Mouth of the Lion! It is a Virtual Launch, taking place on zoom from 7-8 pm UK time (BST) on Sunday 9 May. I will be interviewed by the wonderful Tina Baker, bestselling author and journalist. Please join us for what will surely prove to be a fun and wide-ranging discussion about the origins of the book in a death-defying plane ride in Angola, through the path to publication by Unbound.

Hope to see you there! And please stay in touch.

Thanks again. I couldn't have done this without your support.

Yours Sincerely,

Amelia K
