The Taming Gaming book has been out in the wild for over 6 months now. The response has been overwhelming. Five-star reviews on Amazon and so many parents and guardians have got in touch to say how they have found a new confidence, understand and care for their children's video game hobby.
Thank you again for supporting this important project!
Since the book launched I've been working on the Taming Gaming database. Here you can search for video games that match your family. The database expands on the recipes at the back of the book with some lists of amazing games:
- Games about being a good neighbour.
- Games to get children reading. (With National Literacy Trust)
- Games to develop critical thinking (With Childnet)
- Games that offer digital nutrition (With Jocelyn Brewer)
The database also offers lots of information and searches for parents of children with a disability or with a specific requirement. We have games for pretty much everyone. From games you can play without sight to those you can play with a single button.
Thank you again for your ongoing support. And do let me know how you get on with the Family Video Game Database. Finally, do pop an Amazon review on the book if you have a moment.
