Hi all!
Sorry it's been a bit radio silent on my end - the past few months or so have just been focused on production aka actually printing the book/producing physical rewards. I'm very excited to announce that this is all pretty much done now, and I will be signing all the hard copies next Thursday 7th November! RIP in advance to my hand.
After that, then things will start being sent out and will hopefully reach you all in time for Christmas, depending on where you're based!! I'm so excited for you all to see the book. I was given my own copy a week or so ago and I'm so pleased with it, it looks so lovely and PROFESH.
I'm also very excited to announce that BIRD BRAIN is now available for pre-order in the US from Andrews McMeel! You can find out more on their website here. It's set for release mid-November, so I am disappointed in a sense that the book may potentially be out in the US before some of you get your copies, and for that I sincerely apologise. It’s not a result of anyone being dismissive, unappreciative or lazy - both Andrews McMeel and Unbound have been absolutely incredible and so dedicated to bringing the book to life, and I can’t understate how grateful I am for them. I know nothing about publishing and have my own full-time job, and they’ve essentially done all the heavy lifting here. They just both have their own different processes, deadlines and dates that they follow, which I hope you can understand.
BUT I also hope that the goodies you’ll get as part of your early pledges make up for this - and also, I’m sure you’re aware, but if you pledged early, then YOU are the reason that this book has been picked up for a wider release and will be able to reach more people. You’ve been with me from the very start, and I am so indebted to you. The love, support, generosity and patience that you have shown means so unbelievably much to me, and I can’t thank you all enough for this. Just a little while longer!!
