It's finally here!

Hello! I have some news at last! Agrippina is finally real and on her way! She went to press last week and will be arriving in the Unbound officies on August 8th. That's less than a week! Do you want to see what she'll look like?

Isn't she gorgeous?!

The question, of course, now is: when will you get your books??

The vast majority of you will recieve the ebook on the 8th August and the unsigned books will start being posted that week.

Those of you who have bought signed and inscribed editions will have to wait a tiny bit longer for your physical copy because I live in Belfast and have a job (ugh) and can't get to London until 17th August I am afraid. So I will be in the Unbound office on 17th to wear my writing hand out and your copies will start being posted that day. I am sorry that you will have to wait a little longer but I hope that you don't mind too much.

In the meantime, those of you who have bought prints and postcards and the like, I will be getting on those and they will arrive possibly before your book. I am going to pick up the prints tomorrow and they are truly beautiful. And the 6 of you who wanted to go on a tour of the British Museum with me, watch your emails!

I am so excited that you will finally get to read Agrippina this month. I am so proud of what I have written and the response from people who've been allowed to see it has been overwhelming so far. I can't wait to hear what you think. That said, if you hate it or find a typo, absolutely do not tell me. It is vitally important that I never know either of those things.

If you live in Belfast or London, I am going to be doing a couple of little launch events to which you are all invited, and I will let you know about them as soon as I have nailed down dates etc.

Thank you for your patience, I know this has been a long wait. Literally three of my backers, including both my grandparents, died during the course of making this book. So I appreciate that you have all stuck by and waited to kindly and not died.
