Follow the Yellow Brick (Printable) Road

It's fair to say that one of the most interesting and fastest-developing technologies right now is 3D printing. I am quite excited about the posibilities in 20-30 years time when old and dribbly me, instead of having to waddle to the shops, will be able to print household goods and possibly even food in the comfort of my own home. Yes, 3D printed food! Look!

Well, how about 3D printed block paving? Dutch-company Vanku BV reckon they have the closest thing to it with their Tiger Stone brick-laying machine.

Okay, so it's not really 3D printing, but it's a very clever way to do block paving quickly, accurately and without all that tedious lying about on the road.

The Wizard of Oz could have really done with one of these.
