Dear super-supporters of How To Be A Craftivist book,
Can you believe it's been 3 years since you pledged to make this book a reality?! Because of your early support the book has gone on to sell over 7000 copies worldwide, the paperback edition is selling well (not bad for an unknown author and niche topic!) and more importantly it's inspired, educated and empowered people all over the world of different ages and backgrounds to become kind, thoughtful gentle protesters and changemakers in our fragile world.
Yesterday I launched a new crowdfunding campaign for a new book to complete the trilogy (our A Little Book of Craftivism is still selling well too). With your support, I'm hoping to publish Craftivist Collective Handbook through the mighty Unbound again (I declined offers from 6 other publishers so I can make the book I think would be of most use to readers, not a book that would oversimplify the power of gentle craftivism). I would absolutely love your help to make this important, practical and inspiring craft/activism project book happen. Because...
It sometimes feels like the only way to create change is to stand up and fight for the world we want to see. To march under giant banners and shout to have our voices heard. But if there’s time for the loud, there’s also time for the quiet. If there’s time for the fast, there’s also need for the slow.
This book is all about how to put Gentle Protest into action, why it works and how it can bring us together. This is something our amazing Editor Lara Watson and I are so passionate about creating for you and others. Please do head over to read more about the new book's content and exclusive rewards for supporters here: http://unbound.com/books/craftivist-collective-handbook/
It's a big book full of images, stories, projects, neurosicence and more so it's going to cost more than our yellow book. We had over 800 supporters of the yellow book. We need more than 1000 supporters for this one. Please do help spread the word to anyone you feel is searching for ways they can do quiet, humble and positive activism using their head, hands and heart :)
Together we can mobilise and grow the Quiet Activism movement!
Thank you so much in advance for your time, energy, support and encouragement as always
From love
