Dear beloved supporters,
I hope you and your loved ones are faring ok in the current craziness. One of the benefits of the office remaining closed (where my board has been as a constant reminder me of what I am capable of) is that last week my surfboard finally made it onto the wall at home. It feels amazing to have it here. Under my roof. Every time I look at it I'm reminded of how I can go beyond the limitations I set upon myself. I still haven't used it though (James says I need more lessons before I attempt it) so now it has morphed into a work of art. I will use it one day. Once I make time for more surfing lessons. It is happy to wait until I'm ready.
In other news I wrote a Surfboard related piece for my friends at The Good Life Experience that featured on their excellent new website somegoodideas.co.uk you migth be interested in.
But most importantly of all, James has a book out today called Do Make that I would urge you all to buy. Reading it is like being in the workshop with him and whatever you are setting out to make, this will your mind in the right place. I read it in one go but keep dipping back in. It's a marvel. Congratulations James!
Love Dan
