Hello all - first off, happy new year to everyone. I know it's a bit late, but hope 2019 is shaping up well so far.
So, I wanted to ask for your help. Yes, you. I know this is a bit cheeky, seeing as you've already pledged to the book (once again, thank you for that, I appreciate it more than I can say) - but what I'm asking now won't cost you a penny.
If you've pledged to the book, then you want to see it in print. Crowdfunding projects always slow down over the Christmas and New Year period, and The Boy with Nails for Eyes is no exception. I'd really love for the project to get its momentum back, so - I'm asking if you'd help get the word out again. Do you have the time to put a quick post on social media, linking to the crowdfunding page? Or perhaps you know someone who you think would like the story - maybe you could send a quick email or tell them about it next time you see them? It won't cost you a penny, as said, and it would be a fantastic way to help the project pick up speed again, on its way to the funding target.
Recently I've been working on plans for the next volume of the graphic novel. This post is illustrated with a few sketches of the process so far, including the main character of the coming volume.
My plan this year is to complete a rough version of the next volume, probably some time in the summer. After that, once the refinements are done, I'll start working on it in earnest.
So thank you all for the support so far - and once again, best for the new year!
