That’s ‘be guid tae yer mammy’ edging closer to an actual release date now.
I am ending the campaign in November so that I can hopefully launch at the Edinburgh Book Festival next year, with the hope of getting as much support as possible before then.
The novel is currently 72% funded on Unbound, with 100 supporters and well over 200 preorders as of today.
I am so grateful to everyone for believing in my story, and I hope that it’s been interesting watching my book’s journey into the world!
While the turnaround time between handing the manuscript over and release into the trade will be around seven months, everyone who has already bought the book will receive their copy before then.
I’m also getting more involved with the Scottish writing community, starting with an interview with the lovely Alan Gillepsie, who is also publishing his debut, The Mash House, with Unbound - a must-read for anyone who loves the Highlands and indeed a wee dram!
