A Dog's Life

A very special 'pup-date' for you all this week, as we can now confirm that Unbound will be publishing our book, 'Philosophers' Dogs' in October 2021. We're really pleased with this as it means we can aim for the Christmas book market next year - hooray! We can't wait to see the book on bookstore shelves, especially as it will have all the names of our incredible supporters listed in it. Of course, supporters should be receiving their own personal copies before this date rolls around - another reason to pre-order a copy!

We're on a podcast!

Another reason to check out this particular 'pup-date' is because Sam has been on another (really excellent) podcast - this time, it's 'A Dog's Life', created and hosted by broadcaster and dog expert, Anna Webb.

We love listening to 'A Dog's Life' - it's a fabulous podcast that contends our dogs are companoins, guardians, and much more - they complete us. And they just might save us from ourselves (after all, as Sam points out in this episode, they have the philosophical nous to do so).

Sam is featured in episode 31 (the latest episode at the time of writing), and we'd love for you all to check it out and let us know what you think, as Sam chats to Anna about how the greatest philosophical minds often looked to their canine companions for answers).

You can catch the episode on Spotify, Apple, or wherever you usually find and listen to your podcasts.

And if that's got you in the mood for more podcasts...

If you've listened to 'A Dog's Life' and are now (understandably) in the mood for more dog or philosophy-based podcast action, fear not! Sam has been on some absolutely 'paw-esome' podcasts over the years, including 'Poking Books', and 'Unlatched'.

Check. Them. Out!
