43%!

Thank you once again for all of the support. It is stunning to reach 43% in just over a week, I am so pleased. I would be immensely grateful if any of you feel able to share a link ( this one: https://unbound.com/books/twice-the-speed-of-dark) with any of your social media or even email contacts. The next tranche of support has to reach new people and I feel that it may be somewhat harder to achieve, but there is still over half way to go. So if any of you feel willing to post a link or even a recommendation that would be marvellous. (A tag so I can thank you would be blinding too - @LRAllison77 for Twitter and Instagram)

I am planning to do some more work on the paintings for Gravity this weekend. I am not sure whether to hand-do the text or do a typographic over-lay. I even thought about a bit of hand-rendering, which I haven't done since the first year of St Martin's.... and then without much success. I was so intently concentrated on the (very unnatural for me) careful mode of application that I completely lost sight of what I was actually rendering. When the head of department wandered by he burst into hearty guffaws and pointed out that I had written, in not-very-attractive hand lettering, "people in Mediaeval was very poor." #Skillz.

I am going to a book launch this eveing, a collation of writings from people in Syria. Of great interest to me not least because of the cross-over with Twice the Speed of Dark - pulling lives into focus so we can actually see the people that make up the news stories. Should be interesting.

Adios for now, amigos.

PS it seems extraordinary that this format doesn't have a spell check. My spelling is still quite poor, so please excuse! Perhaps as writers, we are expected to have that kind of thing nailed by now....
