Itchy, residentevil,Tasty: An Unofficial History of Resident Evil | Alex Aniel | undefined

Hello everyone,

It's been awhile since our last update, but plenty has happened since then.

Release Date
First off, I'm happy to say that we are officially done with the book! All edits are complete and the physical book has gone to press. That means the book will be in the hands of backers and then on bookstore shelves in the coming weeks. The official release date for general sale and distribution (book stores, websites besides Unbound, etc.) is April 15, 2021.

The only task left is for me to sign book plates to all backers who selected a signed edition of the album. Depending on where you are located, these signed book plates should make their way to backers together with their hardback copy beginning late March. As I mentioned in a prior update, the original plan was for me to travel to Unbound's London headquarters to sign every book personally, but the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has made that impossible. We hope you understand, but I apologize once again for the change in plans.

E-book
Finally, I am pleased to announce that, thanks to the hard work of the Unbound team, we are able to release the e-book to all backers on the Unbound site on March 22, 2021. That date is no coincidence–it happens to be the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. There will surely be plenty to celebrate as the date approaches, and I hope the early arrival of the e-book can help contribute to the festive mood. (Please note that general E-book sales begin on April 15, on the same day as the hardback.)

Foreign Language Editions
In late February, pre-orders for the first foreign language edition were launched via France-based Pix 'N Love, who have graciously localized the book for French readers, along with an exclusive limited edition cover. If you happen to prefer reading French, you can find the limited and standard editions below:

French - Standard Edition

French - Biohazard Limited Edition

Additionally, we have a Russian translation coming in the near future, and are well underway with negotiating other languages for 2021 and onward. Stay tuned to this page for updates.

Once again, thank you everyone for their gracious support in helping make this project happen. I look forward to everyone's feedback and comments about the book once they've read it.
