Fay Bound Alberti

Dr Fay Bound Alberti is a writer, historian and co-founder of the Centre for the History of Emotions at Queen Mary University of London. Her interests include science, medicine, gender, emotions and the meanings of the body, in history and in the present. Her recent books include 'Matters of the Heart: History, Medicine and Emotion' and 'This Mortal Coil: The Human Body in History and Culture', both published by Oxford University Press. She is currently working on the histories of both loneliness and face transplants.
