International Women's Day talk - Weds 10th March 6pm
Dear Winners
International Women's Day is upon us but a little different to other years. There will be no marches or events here in the UK, at least not in person. But of course we can still meet and campaign online - and we will.
I'll be talking about 'Women Who Won' on Weds 10th March at 6pm for the excellent Women in Public Affairs network. You can sign up to attend for free here.
My talk will include one woman-who-won from each continent, an understanding of why more women in power benefits you and everyone in your workplace, community and society, and last but not least, some excellent 70s knitwear.
To celebrate International Women's Day, Unbound is giving 10% off pledges on 8th March, so please make the most of that or share with your friends who like a bargain.
I look forward to seeing some of you online on Wednesday. Thanks as ever for your support.
Ros
p.s Please enjoy this image of the 1975 Icelandic women's strike - they refused to work, cook and look after children for a day. This movement paved the way for the world's first woman president.

I would love to join, but apparently it is sold out :-(

Hi Marie
I 'm so sorry you didn't manage to get tickets. I will definitely be doing another talk soon because I know quite a few people missed out. Watch this space.
