The Weightless Wait is Nearly Over

As some of you may have seen on social media, Weightless Fireworks actually exists. I was sent a couple of advance copies last week and it is a fine-looking volume.

Here, take a look...

I tried to get away without a barcode seeing as the book won't be in any shops, but sadly that was not to be. I think it is only there so that the printer and warehouse can scan it in and out. Modern technology is the enemy of art, sometimes. It's a bitch, what can I say?

And the book has pages and everything. Here are a few of them.

So, at some point in the next couple of weeks the whole print run will have been scanned, using that bloody barcode, and processed and be ready to send out. Copies that need to be signed or personalised by me will go to the Unbound offices and I will spend an hour or two scribbling in them. And pretty soon everyone will have their copy of Weightless Fireworks, a book that you have waited two years for but which will probably take five minutes to read.

If you pledged for a cake, or some other reward level that involves more than just a book, I will be in touch in the coming days to arrange delivery so that your extras arrive at around the same time as the book itself.

Thanks again for your incredible patience. I hope you will think the book has been worth the wait, even if it only contains around a thousand words.
