Thank you
Thank you to all of you who've pledged. I'm nearly 20% of the way there now, with another two months to go. If you know anyone who might like to help, please give them a nudge.
I've been planning a short film to help publicise the book, and with luck I'll shoot it on Tuesday. The actress who will play the part of Winifred unfortunately had an accident and burnt herself so it's taken a little longer to get the film made than I'd hoped. Poor girl, she was in a lot of pain but she's on the mend now.
Meanwhile, books about the coming of AI seem to appear every day, plus more news of the arrival of nanobots. In the excerpt from my book on the site there's no mention of these, but they play an important part in the plot.
If you don't know about nanobots, you soon will. In the next couple of years, if you need significant medical investigations, you will be offered nanobots. They are microscopic robots, and you will have them injected into your bloodstream. They will go and search out things like pre-cancerous cells.
They are now at the experimental stage, but you're definitely going to encounter them soon.
