Wanderful is Just Around the Corner
Dear Wanderful friends
It’s a while since you kindly agreed to help fund my new book Wanderful. Some of you might even have forgotten you did. But you did! And I just want to let you know, we’re nearly there. Any time now, those nice people at Unbound are going to hit the shiny red button and the presses will roll! The book is due to make its appearance at the end of January - a present to yourself just when the post-Xmas anti-climax hits and perfectly timed so you can set direction for the journey ahead in 2020.
It’s been hugely enjoyable to write, though not without its twists and turns. A particular surprise to me was sitting in Italy in the summer and, just when I thought I was at the end, a new chapter decided to make its appearance: SynchroniCity - see what I did there?! - it's all about the happy accidents you experience when you really connect with what’s going on around you - and how to have more of them. Our beautiful cover design appeared as if by magic - and thanks to the generosity of the creatives as Leagas Delaney. Also, the book took me on a journey that I didn't expect, leading finally to 17th century London and the bedside of a dying poet. Spoiler alert! No man (or woman) is an island.
I am geniuinely excited to see the book hit the streets. And your generous support has been an invaluable part of it's journey. Thank you. I can’t wait to see where Wanderful leads you.
ps. have attached a short teaser audio clip from the introduction of the book. Happy wandering.
