A Midsummer Update on Virtual Cities

It's been a while since the last update on the Virtual Cities atlas, and as you may have noticed the campaign is steadily climbing towards its first stretch goal. Achieving 150% feels like something we can actually reach, and I've thus slightly readjusted our plans to allow for the inclusion of 45 cities in the book; that's roughly an extra 10 illustrations, 5 maps, and over 5000 words.

Speaking of words and illustrations, and for those who have missed my semi-regular updates on the progress of the book on twitter, I'm happy to let you lovely people know that writing is progressing very nicely indeed; as is mapping and illustrating. We have hit our milestones for June and July, and, provided we keep this pace through August, the final manuscript will be delivered to Unbound early in 2019.

As for what you see above, it's a sketch by Maria Kallikaki based on Ant Attack's eerie city of Antescher.

Have a great summer, and thanks for the wonderful, inspiring support!
