Sorry it's been a while since I've updated you. Mum died just before Christmas and it's taken me a while to get back on track - but here I am.
So much has happened. The cover design is now finalised. There's been a legal read to make sure that patients can't be identified, plus proof-reading and final tweaking and acknowledgements to write - but it's all done!

Under the Knife has moved one step closer to becoming an actual book. I've finished working with Rachael, the lovely developmental editor and we've added a few more bits and pieces here and there to really make the book shine.
That means it's gone off to the copy editor for a proof-read, grammar check, and overall spit and polish.
So why do I need your help?…

I've just received suggestions from Rachael, the Developmental Editor.
She's read the book from top to toe and has picked up all the little things I've glossed over or not explained properly.
She also knows where you'll all want to read a little but more about a certain topic in the book.
I've got 6 weeks to make the changes and then we're on to the next stage.

I just wanted to send a huge thank-you to each and every one of you who has pledged to support my book. I still can't quite believe that my book is going to be published. I finished writing the manuscript last year and I'm currently waiting for notes from the developmental editor to give it a 'spit and polish'.
