Feels like home
As someone who has worked hard (and by hard, I mean with the work ethic of a railcar bum) to cultivate a "hobo presence" on the Internet.
Skid Rogue Haven, my blog. Skid Rogue is a 30s/40s era term for a bum who can't be trusted.
Bindle Pole Diaries, my tumblr account. Imagine the classic cartoon image of a hobo carrying all his worldly posseses in a sack tied to the end of a stick. That's a bindle pole.
There's more, but I'll try to limit my digression.
So you can imagine my delight when I learned the primary blogging tool on Unbound is called the Shed.
The Shed. The hobo's sanctuary. A place where I can huddle around a small fire and slow cook a tin of Spam, counting my wooden nickles and dreaming of a the Big Rock Candy Mountain. Within its shabby four walls and corrugated metal roof, I can discuss all things great and small with you, my fellow conspirators in the transient lifestyle.
The campaign for Transilience has only just begun. I am encouraged by the early buzz and look forward to sharing the coming three month journey with you all.
