Cards, short stories and guided tours
Woo, 67%, look at that! We are very much getting there! So, couple of awesome new things lined up:
1) A few people on social media have been saying nice things about my Time's Fool landscape sketches so we're looking to add a new reward level where you can get one of these on a card with a personalised message from yours truly. This would be especially good for overseas supporters, who want something they can hold, or to support the project a bit more - but aren't up for the "flipping heck, HOW MUCH?" of overseas postage. Don't know exactly how much these will be, but it's all in the pipeline.
2) One for locals to the fine city of Norwich and its surrounding area this time: I'm checking with the city council about doing a "Time's Fool" walking tour of Norwich to support the book. Not only is Barchester loosely based on the Norwich, with many events having real life inspirations - as a medievalist and storyteller, I also have enough trivia about the city itself to put on an evening of weird, wonderful and spooky stories about a place very close to my heart.
Watch this space.
3) Very soon I will be putting up a standalone short story from the creature's past up on this blog. It is called "Some Chequered Affection" and occurs in the early years of the 20th century. It has a slightly different vibe to the novel - but still promises a gothic good time.
