"This is the way, step inside..."

Hello there and welcome to my shed. Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd use...

Here's where you can get updates on how the book's funding is coming along, together with some spiel, snippets and anecdotes, hoopla, hijinks and insights concerning my writing process, some more on how The Dutch Wives came to be, plus exclusive access -for pledgers only- to original works of mine (short stories, poems etc.) and perhaps even a few embarrassing photos.

'shed work'

[shed wurk]

adjective, Slang.

a phrase coined by Tim Wonnacott and used on daytime television show 'Bargain Hunt', to denote reasonable workmanship though by an amateur hand etc.:

The carving on the cabriole legs is passable, but the cross-banding on the top betrays the piece as little more than shed work.
