Happy Halloween

Dearest Supporters

We hope you and yours are keeping well.

We've been busy working on the manuscript edits and it's all coming together nicely.

Eva's favourite holiday is upon us: Halloween! She's celebrating by baking, of course.

These jack o'linzers use the same recipe as Christmas linzers we've shared with you before.

Remember, there are loads of vegan candy readily available (here's a link for the UK, one for the US and one for vegan sprinkles, for all your future baking needs) and many artisanal makers too, if you fancy supporting small businesses. Chocolate is vegan, unless dairy milk is added, and now you can even find vegan milk chocolate (do check this list of companies making vegan products containing chocolate to make sure it's not sourced from areas where the worst forms of child labor and/or slavery are the most prevalent).

With love and gratitude,

Emi & Eva

Nice photos! It would be nicer, though, to have an actual update on the project itself...

Hello Michail,
great to hear from you. On 7 October you should've received an update from Unbound letting you know we've entered the pre-press stage. Pre-press is publishing speak for all the steps that happen to get a manuscript ready for printing, like: Copy editing; Cover design;
Typesetting; Proofreading. And we're diligently working on all that and it's coming together nicely. Hope that helps. Thanks for your support! Emi & Eva
