Here we are again in the Unbound Publishing blog area called 'the shed'. It's a big shed because there are almost 150 of us in here - so let's think of it more as a rustic stone outbuilding in a meadow somewhere in the mediterranean region. You know the sort of place: with cool flagstones and earthenware and heavy wooden furniture; maybe some paintings by a local artist...
...anyway, the important thing is that there are jugs of wine doing the rounds because we're celebrating. 110 days after Joe and Dale helped me bend a four chord progression on a tenor ukulele into the weirdest sound I've ever heard for the Unbound video, The Wrong Story is fully funded.
That's all down to you, the patrons, and all those who advised, encouraged, set up readings, passed around leaflets, introduced me to Facebook, posted, tweeted and retweeted. So to those I know and those I don't, thank you.
You do know you're going to have to read this thing now, don't you?
There is always room for more in the shed. While the editing, proof-reading and graphic part of the publishing process takes place it's still possible to be part of the project and have your name in the book, get a copy of the artwork or even throw a bread roll at me over lunch.
And I've still got about 200 leaflets to distribute if anyone's interested...
