The day after the day after publication day
There is something new and beautiful abroad. Over the past few months I have been working with amazing and talented people including The Bookshop Band and Number Seven Dulverton.
Now there is a film, live from today. I had hoped to embed it here but can't find the way, but here is a link to where you will find it. Be sure to turn the sound up.
Today I should have been in Number Seven in the kitchen, signing books and chatting. They have prints and originals for sale from the book and you can see more of that if you follow this link here, but beware. Theirs is an emporium of great beauty.
And the audio book is being previewed a month in advance of it hitting Audible....(love audio books, hate providing Amazon with more of an income) so you can download and listen NOW. Just go to the main page and it's the second pledge down.....
For thos who are confused ALL pledgers have the 'special edition'- no words on the cover, just image. These are very limited edition BUT there are a few more for sale and some bookshops pledged too- go to the pledgers section at the back of the book to see who might have copies. You can buy the trade edition from anywhere. It's £14.99 I think. The Silent Unwinding is reprinting and will be back in teh shops next week.
Let me know what you think of the audio version. I love the mix of music. It's a lullaby for grown ups.
There is an Unwinding Sheet coming soon. More on that later. In the meantime, do check that you have confirmed your address so the books can be delivered. Be swift if you want extra special editions. I know Anna at Solva Mill has a few, and Kenilworth Books and Number Seven. I so love the film from Number Seven.
The Silent Unwinding has reminded me of this.
Oh, and one last thing before I go. Folk by the Oak's Family Nest Festival has a whole 'stream' dedicated to The Unwinding. The festival is aiming to raise money for The Willow Foundation and the musicians who are performing. They have the most amazing line-up, and The Unwinding Stream. You will need more than one cuppa during that time xx Scroll down the page to find The Unwinding Stream.
I need to go and paint now. There's another pitch to write. John from Unbound and I are working on other curious things. The sun is shining. I need to paint. The garden is full of goldfinch song.
