Publication Day!

I’m having a crazy day! M.E.N. photographer just left, my book’s now on display in Manchester Waterstones, I've received 150 Twitter messages, and the chickens have laid 9 eggs!

Thanks for all your support. It’s been a fascinating journey – and now I can start worrying about the sequel!

Hope to see some of you at the various events of my Book Tour. In addition to the above dates, I should be at Waterstones in Bristol in June or July.

And if you have a moment, then a review on Amazon / Good Reads / Love Reading would be very much appreciated.

Kind Regards

James X

Hi Anne
You're so right - omelettes. Yes, a great day, but tired now!
It will be brilliant to see you at an event.

Congratulations, James. I took The Trail with me to the Maldives and it was a hard job to put the book down and snorkel with manta rays! I found it an excellent read: well plotted with surprising twists and turns. It was a page turner with fast flowing writing that didn't get in the way of reading, but was good at describing surroundings and events. Characterisation was good too; I didn't necessarily like all of the main characters (with the exception of Rick, of course), but they were convincingly drawn. Your experience in the police force and in Nepal shone through. Roll on the sequel! Regards, Lorna x
