So, what's happening?
Apologies for the radio silence one and all! What with the editing and various other things I've been a bit lax in keeping you in the loop.
The structural edit is now complete and the novel gained several thousand extra words and a handful of new scenes, which I'm thrilled about and can't wait to share with you. And if you pledged for the reward that will net you a few extra chapters unseen by most people, they're looking pretty good too and will hopefully be a great treat.
The book is now with the copy editor who is going through with a fine tooth comb to check anything the spellcheck missed and making sure that everything makes sense and is consistent. Fingers crossed it's looking alright!
Once I've made those changes and it's all looking pretty swell, things will really get moving and the book takes another step closer to publication.
Thanks for all your support, again, and I appreciate the interest you're still showing in the project. If you want something to tide you over, you can always visit my blog "Fell From Fiction", where I review all the books I read and speak to fellow book lovers.
Hope you're all doing wonderfully and enjoying the sun when it does decide to show itself!
