Hi everyone!

I thought I better just give an update to let you all know what's going on with the book. I've been working with the editor Debi Alper for the last few weeks to help give the novel a structual edit. This is (hopefully) the biggest edit of the novel in which she and I explore what needs correcting in regards to plot, character and the general structure of the novel. I'm thrilled to say that I have now send off my changes and so now wait with bated breath for her response.

The edits were hugely satisfying to do, and it was great fun being back in that world. The main throughline of the story remains the same, but there are a couple of scenes that have become darker, and others that have otherwise been expanded to provide further drama. I'm really happy with how the edits are coming along.

I'll keep you posted when the next draft is completed!

Much love,

Michael :)
