Pledges, prints and tweets!
So just a quick update with news of progress on a few fronts. Firstly, and excitingly, after six weeks The Sterling Directive is just over a third of the way to being funded! A huge thank you to all of you who have pledged so far.
Secondly, Andrew Park has finished the design for the Limited Edition Print and it looks amazing!
I think he has done a great job of capturing the feel of an alternative Victorian London, with the dot-matrix styling and the way he has overlaid the London skyline with designs for Babbage's analytical engine. Also: airships!
Identity is a big theme in the book and I really like the way that Andrew has made this a central part of the design. It is going to look fantastic when printed and especially as he will be hand finishing each print.
I hope that you like it - if so there is plenty of room for effusive praise in the comments section below!
Finally, and perhaps the most exciting achievement of all, I have reached 50 followers on Twitter!! Okay, maybe not so exciting but at least it's a (tiny, tiny) step in the right direction. If you are on The Twitter, do please follow me at @timstandishUK and perhaps one day I'll reach the dizzy heights of 100 followers...
That's all for now. I'll be back soon with another update about the Victorian Verse reward. Watch this space!
