Leeds International Film Festival

From 2nd - 16th November, the Leeds International Film Festival is going to be running and this year there are some special events celebrating the life and work of the subject of The Shadow Traps. Two of them I'm not allowed to talk about just yet, which is good because it means I can direct you instead to a talk I will be giving for LIFF entitled 'A White Horse in Roundhay'. It will be an illustrated lecture on Le Prince's life and work and will contain a few images and pieces of information never presented to the public before. Here's a link to the page:

It's on at the Albert Room of the beautiful Town Hall. I think there's a free exhibition on Magnum photographers and film going on there as part of LIFF as well.
