Have you received your copy yet?
Dear readers,
I was in the US last week and met up with my old football team to drink beer and reminisce about past glories - both real and imagined. A few old hackers brought along their copy of The Quiet Fan for me to sign. Others said, "I haven't received my copy yet?" I asked them if they"d clicked on the email from Unbound asking them to confirm their address. Responses included: 1."What's Unbound?" 2. "I never read emails from Unbound - they send way too many." And 3. "I never read my emails."
So, if you haven't yet received your copy of the book, that could be the reason. For those who have read it, thank you for the kind comments so far. If any of you can envision those kind comments in the shape of an amazon review, say, then even more gratitude is due.
I promise this is the last email I'll bother you with. One final time - thank you, thank you, thank you for your support.
Yours quietly, Ian

Mine arrived quite a while ago. You sure did us a lot of words in it. As an American I find that difficult to deal with. (Congratulations btw).
