Dealing with stigma workshop
Stacey Clare will host an afternoon-long workshop in which she explains the harmful effects of stigma on strippers and sex workers, and demonstrates how an already marginalised group can be made even more vulnerable by often well-meaning but misinformed advocates. Learn how language in particular can be used to dissipate stigma and how you can be a better ally to the sex work community, by enabling self-advocacy and avoiding harmful and repetitive tropes. This workshop is particularly aimed at journalists, health and support workers, students and academics. Stacey is happy to tailor the workshop to your event, course or organisation. Plus you will receive ten signed copies of the book. Travel outside of London not included.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I get my book delivered to?
We deliver to most countries worldwide. Enter your delivery address during checkout and we'll display the shipping cost when we know where to send your book.
How do supporter names work?
Every person who pledges to help to make a book gets their name included in a supporter section as a thank you as long as they pledge before the list closing deadline. If you want to add a different name, this can be changed in your account after you have completed your pledge.
