I just wanted to do a quick update to let you know about of couple of things. Also, we'll have another In Focus update coming soon, focussing on a specific city, so keep a look out for that.
Firstly I wanted to bring your attention to Konstantinos Dimopoulos and Maria Kallikaki's book (also on Unbound) Virtual Cities.
Virtual Cities is a survey of some of the most notable cities from video game history, featuring maps and sketches, as well as analysis and history. Its a very exciting book, and one you might be interested in if you like The Continuous City. I've had the pleasure to work with Konstantinos as part of my work on Heterotopias and I can't think of a better person to undertake such an ambitious project. It's currently gathering funds on Unbound, but as it's hit its funding target you might want to get in quick to secure a beautiful first edition of this unqiue book.
Check it out here.
Meanwhile, back with The Continuous City, I wanted to let you know I'll be running a workshop and doing a talk on game photography at London's famous Photographer's Gallery on the 7th of July. So if you'd like to learn more about my process, and also get to try out some experimental game photography techniques yourself sign up here for the talk and here for the workshop.
That's it for now, than you all again for your support, and I'll have another update for you soon!
