Coming soon to a letterbox near you
You may have received an email from Unbound this week announcing that your copy of The Burning Hill will be dropping through your letterbox soon. Exciting, eh?
I’m sorry to have kept you on tenterhooks, I haven’t been in touch for a while as was waiting on some things that got held up in the production process and we haven’t been certain about the launch date.
It seems like the big day will now be 13th Dec so, as people are likely to be otherwise occupied with the festive season, I’m going to put off the launch party and assorted ‘extras’ until the New Year - I’ll be in touch. I’m looking forward to catching up with you and can’t thank you enough for your support. Without you, the book wouldn’t be here.
I have a blog tour starting 26th Nov, which is a publicity thing where individual bloggers release a review on my book each day over the course of the week. It’s a good way to spread word-of-mouth online.
If you know of/belong to any bookclubs that might be interested in The Burning Hill, I would be delighted to come and do a talk (or Skype if you’re on another continent!) - please do let me know.
In my bid for world online domination, I’ve now also got a Facebook author page here - https://www.facebook.com/A.D.FlintAuthor/ - you might want to take a look at the insane thing that happened in my wife’s home town this week with a security truck robbery.
I’ll start getting more active on Twitter when the blog-tour reviews start to come out, so do follow me there too: https://twitter.com/brazil_thriller
I’m even giving Instagram a whirl these days: https://www.instagram.com/a.d.flint
Oh, and I’ve got a website. I’m still working on the content but do take a look and sign up to my blog on the right-hand side of the home page for news updates: http://www.brazil-book.co.uk/
The book is available to pre-order on Amazon but the presentation is in process of being tidied up as a few bits missing.
And, lastly, here’s the front and back cover of the book. Is that me on the front? It isn’t, but social media opinion is that it is, so who am I to fight it?
