Tell Me Like I'm Ten

By Matthew Shribman

Climate, the way we should have been told it.

You never change things by fighting the existing reality.

To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.

So says Buckminster Fuller.

We need a planet equipped with the truth. And not just the truth, but how it all links together - a strategic map of the whole. From uncertainty and crises come brilliant ideas and solutions from those people who understand why things are going so badly wrong.

The media and education system are failing us, giving us piecemeal, disconnected information, leading to an underappreciation of the importance of shifting diets and storing energy, and an over-appreciation of ideas like biomass and "sustainable beef".

We also have far too little encouragement to imagine the future we want to build. If we can't imagine a better future, no one will want to get involved.

This book is a highly accessible, entertaining explainer and hive of ideas.

Thank you so much to everyone who's already signed up to support it!
