WANT TO READ THE ACTUAL STRANGER’S GUIDE? HERE’S YOUR CHANCE!
Help The Stranger’s Guide To Talliston reach 125% funding and everyone who has pledged receives the complete text of the guidebook as an exclusive free gift!
On 20th July 2018, Netflix launches a new 12-part interior design series, Amazing Interiors to its subscribers – and Talliston House & Gardens is proud to be featured in the line up of the most fantastical properties from around the world. This show is being launched in 52 countries simultaneously – to a potential audience of more than 90 million.
To celebrate this and as an additional thanks to everyone who helped to bring Joe’s epic journey through the labyrinth of Talliston to life – I’ve agreed to allow every single subscriber to see and read the actual book within the book: The Stranger’s Guide itself.
EXCLUSIVE GIFT FOR ALL!
If the campaign reaches 125%, we'll send every subscriber a digital copy of the complete text of The Stranger’s Guide To Talliston. This will contain words and images from the hand-calligraphed leather-bound volume that was created as the novel was written. It contains detailed notes and research on each of the thirteen rooms, the occupants and a wealth of background materials (some of which have already been shared in these Updates).
Please share this news with new potential readers or upgrade your pledge. And once we hit 125% we’ll automatically unlock this exclusive reward and send to everyone who has supported us so far!
It’s full name is:
The Stranger’s Guide To The Dark House And Dangerous Gardens Of
T A L L I S T O N

A note of clarity: these images and text are not from the novel. They refer to the book within the book. In the story, thirteen-year-old Joe finds this leather-bound volume in The Old Rectory in 1852. While I was writing Joe's adventures, I was also creating the guidebook he carried. Maybe one day this companion will exist, but for now there is one copy, kept at Talliston. To this end, I will refer to real novel as The Stranger's Guide To Talliston and the fictitious guidebook as The Stranger's Guide. Confused? Think The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy... and you're there!
