  • John Tarrow at the Forbidden Planet book signing.

In the few weeks since launch, The Stranger's Guide To Talliston has had a wonderful welcome to the reading world. We've appreared on the BBC and ITV, garnered a raft of great reviews, wowed at the London Film & Comic Con / YA Lit Con and had some great readers' feedback. So, as Worldcon Dublin starts today – and every science fiction and fantasy guest will be opening their souvenir programme to discover a page dedicated to the novel – I thought it was time for an update.

An exciting companion to Joe's adventures in the novel is the newly-launched Letters From The Labyrinth. This is an illustrated story-in-correspondence that follows another child into the times and places of the labyrinth, using the same rooms, but arriving at different moments in time. You can find out a lot more at – but in short, it’s a way to reintroduce people to the joy of receiving letters in the post – while also tying up some of the loose ends and great scenes  I *wanted* to add to the novel, but couldn’t quite get to fit!

And until end August, we’re giving all readers of The Stranger’s Guide To Talliston an exclusive 25% off subscriptions to Letters From The Labyrinth.

Just go to the Folksy pages below and use the code LETTERS25 at checkout.

Letters From The Labyrinth : Annual Subscription & Exclusive Thirteenth Letter

Letters From The Labyrinth : One, Three, Six and Nine Letter Subscription
