Woah, we’re halfway there!

We’re no longer livin’ on a prayer because ‘Survival Machines’ is 50% funded! Which means we are closer to the finish than we are to the start, so bring it on!

Thank you everyone for your reviews of ‘Darwin’s Soldiers’ and for your support of the sequel. It’s been great fun writing these books and even more fun sharing them with you and hearing your thoughts and stories about the characters and their adventures. I can promise you, it only gets better!

I finished writing the first draft of ‘Survival Machines’ at the end of March and I’ve been reading through and editing ever since. There’s still a way to go but it’s looking like a leaner, meaner book than ever before.

If you know anyone who might be interested in 'Survival Machines' that hasn’t read ‘Darwin’s Soldiers’ why not point them in this direction? There’s a special Paperback Series Bundle which gives you both books for one pledge.

And in case you missed these on a previous update, here are some great new words from the late, great Douglas Adams:

Duntish (adj.): Mentally incapacitated by a severe hangover.

Noak Hoak (n.): A driver who indicated left and turns right.

Gilling (n.): The warm tingling you get in your feet when having a really good widdle.
